Ophelia Hohler (Harp)

Ophelia played the harp at our Christmas concert 2011 to great acclaim, and her Britten 'Harp interlude' from Ceremony of Carols was one of the highlights.

Ophelia Hohler studied the harp at the Royal College of Music Junior Department with Daphne Boden and later with Catherine Michel in Paris. She read Modern History at Oriel College, Oxford. She was Principal harp in the Kent County Youth Orchestra for six years, Ophelia then played with the Oxford Philharmonia and the London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra before moving to Kenya in 2004.

Ophelia has performed in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, the Queen Elizabeth Hall and York Minster. She returned to live in London from Kenya in early 2011.
